Terms and Conditions for Online Orders – Nordic Figures

These Terms and Conditions apply to orders and use of products and services provided
by Nordic Crafters (Business ID: FI2511604-2) through its service Nordic Figures.
By uploading materials, placing an order, or using the Nordic Figures service, the
customer accepts these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy and agrees to be
bound by them. Nordic Crafters reserves the right to update or modify these terms at
any time.

Nordic Figures is a service operated by Nordic Crafters.

2. Description of the Service

Nordic Figures is a personalized figurine service where customers can order custom-
made physical figurines based on photographs and reference materials provided by the

customer.
The customer selects the figurine style, size, and customization options, uploads
reference images, and may provide additional instructions. Based on this material,
Nordic Figures creates a figurine using a combination of digital production processes
and manual craftsmanship.

All figurines are custom-made and created individually for each order.

3. Use of Third-Party Services and Artificial Intelligence

As part of the production process, Nordic Crafters may use third-party services,
including services utilizing artificial intelligence, to process customer-provided images
and materials.
By uploading images or other materials and placing an order, the customer explicitly
acknowledges and agrees to the use of such third-party services solely for the purpose
of producing the ordered figurine.

The customer acknowledges that such processing may involve automated decision-
making as part of the production workflow.

Customer-provided materials are not used for any other purpose, including marketing
or development, without the customer’s explicit consent.

4. Products and Services

All products offered through Nordic Figures are personalized physical products unless
otherwise stated.
Due to the personalized nature of the products:
• Figurines may not be identical to the original photographs.
• The final appearance depends on the quality, completeness, and accuracy of
the materials provided by the customer.
All services and products are intended for personal, non-commercial use unless
otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Order Conditions

5.1 Order Placement and Acceptance

An order becomes binding only after Nordic Crafters has reviewed and accepted the
customer-provided materials.
Nordic Crafters reserves the right to reject an order if:
• The submitted materials are illegal, infringing, or inappropriate
• The content violates applicable laws or these terms
If an order is rejected before acceptance, any payment made will be refunded.

5.2 Age Requirement

The Nordic Figures service is intended for users aged 14 years or older.
If the customer is under 18 years of age, the order must be placed with the consent of a
legal guardian. Nordic Crafters does not actively verify the age of users.

6. Customer-Provided Materials and Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
• They have the right to use and submit all uploaded images and materials
• The materials do not infringe third-party rights
If only partial reference material is provided (e.g. a face photo without a full-body
image), Nordic Figures may complete missing elements at its own discretion using
neutral poses, proportions, clothing, and details unless specific instructions are
provided.
Nordic Figures cannot guarantee the accuracy of:
• Body shape, posture, clothing, tattoos, accessories, or other details that are not
clearly visible or provided
• Small or fine details, especially on smaller figurine sizes (e.g. glasses, small text,
thin tattoos, jewelry)

7. Delivery and Production Time

Production times are estimates. Typical production time is up to one week, excluding
shipping.
Delays may occur due to high order volume, material availability, technical issues, or
public holidays. Significant delays will be communicated to the customer when
possible.
Shipping times depend on destination and shipping method.

8. Right of Withdrawal and Refund Policy

In accordance with EU consumer protection legislation, custom-made and
personalized products are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Once an order has been accepted for production, it cannot be canceled or refunded
unless required by law.
In the case of damaged or defective products, Nordic Crafters will assess the issue on a
case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement or other appropriate solution.
Differences arising from artistic interpretation, scaling, or personalization do not
constitute a defect.

9. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown including VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed via secure third-party payment service providers. Nordic
Crafters does not store payment card information.
Customs duties, taxes, or import fees for deliveries outside the EU are the responsibility
of the customer and are not refundable.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, 3D models, production files, and related materials created by Nordic
Figures remain the intellectual property of Nordic Crafters.
The customer receives ownership of the physical figurine for personal use only.
No rights are granted to reproduce, modify, resell, or commercially exploit the design
or model.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nordic Crafters strives to deliver high-quality products. Any issues must be reported
without undue delay after receiving the product.
Nordic Crafters’ liability is limited to correcting the error or replacing the product where
applicable. Liability shall never exceed the total price paid for the order in question.
Nordic Crafters shall not be liable for:
• Issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or low-quality customer-provided
materials
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Differences arising from artistic interpretation or personalization
• Technical failures beyond reasonable control

12. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the
Privacy Policy.
Customer-provided images and production materials are stored only as long as
necessary for order fulfillment and related purposes, and for a maximum of six (6)
months, after which they are deleted unless legally required otherwise.
Customers have the right to request access to or deletion of their personal data.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland, without prejudice to
mandatory consumer protection laws.
Disputes shall be resolved primarily through amicable negotiation. If no agreement is
reached, disputes may be referred to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or handled
in accordance with applicable EU dispute resolution mechanisms.
In case of discrepancies between language versions, the English version shall prevail.

14. Amendments to Terms

Nordic Crafters reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at
any time. Updated terms take effect upon publication on the website.
